The CAPPA Foundation
The CAPPA foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit organization based in Atlanta Georgia.
The CAPPA foundation was created to facilitate significant advancment in the area of maternal child health education through support and research.
The CAPPA Foundation is currently supporting the projects listed below:
- Granting scholarship to those seeking education and certification as childbirth educators, labor doulas, postpartum doulas, lactation educators and antepartum doulas. (Ongoing)
- Hosting the annual CAPPA childbirth conference (ongoing each year)
- 2003 AVON 3 day breast cancer walk sponsor Atlanta GA
- Darlene Bishop Home for Life, a residential facility that houses 30 pregnant teens and gives them job skills training, life skills education, childbirth education and more
- King County Breastfeeding Resource Guide.
